Week 11 Waiver Wire Targets

by | Mar 26, 2022 | NFL

What a weekend of sport we just had. The scenes in the Aviva were something else. The fear on Sunday was also something else…

In the interest of time, I am going to get the waiver wire targets out now, so you have enough time to do your research and get your selections in, and then release a week ten review tomorrow evening.

We had a solid weekend with the Sunday picks, going 8-5. Check out the results below. Record now stands at 39-47

All Week 10 Sunday/Monday Picks

  • Atlanta Falcons @ Dallas Cowboys: Cowboys -9.5 – yes
  • Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets: Bills – 12 (this was the nap, as it was at the top of the article – trust me bro) – yes
  • Cleveland Browns @ New England Patriots: Browns +3 – lol no
  • Detroit Lions @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Lions +8.5 – yes
  • Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts: Under 48.5 – yes
  • New Orleans Saints @ Tennessee Titans: Titans -2.5 (but I honestly haven’t a clue) – no
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Football Team: WFT +10 – yes
  • Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals: Under 44.5 – yes
  • Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Chargers: Over 52.5 – no
  • Philadelphia Eagles @ Denver Broncos: Broncos Straight Up – no
  • Seattle Seahawks @ Green Bay Packers: Under 49.5 – yes
  • Kansas City Chiefs @ Las Vegas Raiders: Raiders +3.5 – no
  • Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers: Under 50 – yes

Week 10 Waiver Wire Targets Review:

  • Bryan Edwards: 16.30
  • Elijah Moore: 11.90
  • Devin Singletary: 11.40
  • AJ Dillion: a week nine target, but a big 25.80 point performance in week ten. Very important to note that Aaron Jones is out for 1-2 weeks, so definitely pick him up if you can.

Week 11 Waiver Wire Targets:

Pretty slim pickings this week for guys that haven’t already been mentioned in other weeks, but I’ll do my best. I’ll also highlight guys who have already popped up in other articles, but are of particular fancy this week.

RB:

Rhamondre Stevenson: the kid has some juice. Stevenson ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday night against a stout Browns run defence. Damian Harris did sit out that game and is back this week against the Falcons, but Stevenson would be a useful pick-up if Harris goes down again.

WR:

Michael Gallup: I noted Gallup as a honourable mention in my week eight waiver wire targets, but he ended up staying out on IR for another couple of weeks. Mike McCarthy eased him back in last week against the Falcons, where he was targeted five times with three receptions, recording a slow 5.70 point performance. The Cowboys have a lot of mouths to feed but Gallup should have a solid floor on one of the most high powered offences in the league.

Kendrick Bourne: Bourne is currently WR #34, but had a season high 22.10 points on Sunday night against the Browns. Bourne is leading all New England WRs with 520 yards and has put up four performances over 13.50 points. Mac Jones is really coming into his own and building into the 2021 season, so Bourne should be a solid beneficiary of Jones’ rise. The Patriots have the Falcons next, who are currently ranked #25 against WRs.

Kenny Golladay: CurrentlyGolladay is Big Blues most talented wide receiver, even with Toney looking like a standout talent. Unfortunately for Kenny, he has been plagued with injuries all year. But, the Giants are coming off a bye week and have the Bucs up next, who have been very hit or miss all year against the passing game.

Honourable mention:

Rashod Bateman: mentioned a couple of times at this stage, but get on that now if you can.

TE:

Hunter Henry: Henry is currently tight end #3 and only rostered in 60.6% of leagues. Let that sink in for a moment. He has clear chemistry with Mac Jones, which has led to some strong performances during the 2021 season. On Sunday night against the Browns, Henry logged four catches from four targets for 37 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Next up for the Patriots and Henry, is the Atlanta Falcons who are currently ranked #15 against TEs. Thursday games are funny though.

Defences:

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins certifiably ruined my Friday morning, as I woke to the news that they dominated the Ravens and my TNF selections. The good news, their defence played insanely well, logging five sacks of Lamar Jackson and four turnovers in total, and now face the Jets in week 11. In 2020, the Dolphins were known for their defence and were the reason many people had high hopes for them in 2021. They have recorded consecutive 25 point performances the last two weeks. Can they make it three strong weeks in a row? I’d like to think so.
