Mike MF White and the Jets travel to Lucas Oil stadium for tonight’s TNF showdown. The homie White went supersonic on Sunday night against the Bengals, throwing for over 400 yards and 3 TDs. He is one of two players ever who have thrown for over 400 yards in their first start, with Cam Newton being the other. Michael Carter, the rookie RB out of North Carolina had the best game of his career as well, rushing for 77 yards and logging 95 yards receiving, along with nabbing two touchdowns. White leaned heavily on Carter and Jamison Carter against the Bengals. Will he do it again here is the real question.
Jumping to other side of the match-up, Carson Wentz and the Colts are coming off a disappointing loss to the Titans, which I did not see coming. Being a Colts fan and watching Carson Wentz is what going on a rollercoaster must be like (I’ve never been on a rollercoaster – too scared). He can make absolutely electric throws, but also the most ludicrous interceptions. The interception and touchdown at the end of the fourth quarter in last Sunday’s match is a prime example. But when he is on, he is on, and Michael Pittman Jr is usually a beneficiary. Pittman is slowly making his way up the echelon of wide receivers and will look to continue his strong play tonight.
So, where does that leave us for tonight’s match-up? The Colts are at home, which is always a big plus, but coming off a disappointing loss. The Colt’s record is also shocking at home, losing three out of four outings. For the Jets, how will Mike White fair in his second match, now that the spotlight is shining brightly on him? A look at the stats may throw up some useful information.

This game looks like it should be a good one. Once the Colts offensive line can keep Carson Wentz upright, he generally performs well. The Jets can be exploited through the air, as their passing defence is ranked 28th. I like Carson Wentz to have a big game here and leverage his favourite receiver. Pittman’s O/U is 68.5 yards, which is he has broken in three of his last four games. I’m not mad on Jonathan Taylor on the rushing over, but I do like him to bag a touchdown. He has scored six TDs in the last five games, establishing himself as an elite RB in regular and fantasy terms.
To go along with the two Colts player props, I like Michael Carter to have over 37.5 yards receiving. He has had 67 and 95 yards receiving in his last two games and he is a favourite target of White. The Colts are so good against the run as well, so I think Carter will get his points through the air.
