WEEK 8 RECORD: 3-4.

WEEK 8 PROFIT/LOSS: +1.93 point.

NAP RECORD: 3-4.

2023 OVERALL RECORD: 30-46.

2023 TOTAL PROFIT/LOSS: -13.52 points.

2022 TOTAL PROFIT/LOSS: +21.32 points.

TITANS @ STEELERS: Titans +3.5, 1 point @ 3/4.

Important points to note (Titans):

  • 3-4 and 0-3 away.
  • 24th in total offence, 29th in passing, 13th in rushing and 23rd in points scored.
  • 22nd in total yards allowed, 20th in passing yards allowed, 16th in rushing and 13th in points allowed.
  • 19th in turnovers with a -2 differential.
  • Ryan Tannehill’s absence last week was a blessing. Rookie, Will Levis, came in and threw four TDs, three to DHop, with no INTs. He was also under severe pressure doing so, with Atlanta sacking him twice and pressuring him eleven times.

Important points to note (Steelers):

  • 4-3 and 2-2 at home.
  • In terms of offensive and defensive yards, near the bottom of most categories, except for points allowed, where they sit at 18th.
  • 3rd in turnovers with +7.
  • Missing star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
  • Kenny Pickett plays but is managing a rib injury.

Final comment:

This Steelers team ain’t it. Their 20-10 home defeat to the Jags, last week, confirmed my suspicions. Now, the Jags are a good team, but not ten-point winners, in the rain, away from home good. The Titans are coming into this brimming with confidence, as their rookie QB slashed open a solid Falcons secondary, on Sunday night. The Steelers have absolutely nothing going forward and I think with Pickett’s rib injury and a Titans passing defence that logged six sacks last week, it won’t get any better in this prime-time match-up. I’m excited to see if Levis can put another big performance together, in what is a tough place to travel to and perform well.
