NFL 2024: Week 7 Preview

by | Oct 20, 2024 | NFL

NAP RECORD: 0-3.

2024 OVERALL RECORD: 6-5.

2024 TOTAL PROFIT/LOSS: -0.40 point.

Texans @ Packers: Texans +3.5, 1 point 4/5 (NAP)

The Packers are good, but the Texans are better. Well, better getting 3.5 points. Both teams are top ten in offence, but the Texans are streets ahead when it comes to defence. They are 3rd overall, 13th stopping the rush and 4th stopping the pass. The Packers on the other hand are 18th overall, 8th stopping the rush and 25th stopping the pass. 25th is just not good enough facing Stroud and co.

Patriots @ Jaguars (London): Patriots +7.5, 0.5 point @ 8/11

The Patriots are not a good team, but the Jags getting 7.5 points seems a little steep. The Jags just got pummelled, 35-16, by Chicago at home and now sit at 1-5. Yikes. The Patriots got hammered by the Texans in week 6, but Drake Maye showed some flashes and managed to put up 21 against a top-class Houston defence. This is not a game I’ll be watching but it could be profitable at the end of the day.

Panthers @ Commanders: Commanders and over 51.5, 0.5 point @ 5/4

Chuba Hubbard over 67.5 yards rushing, 0.5 point @ 20/23

The Commanders are absolutely electric on offence and will surely put up more than 35 against the struggling Panthers. They have one of the best offences in the league but can be a little leaky at times on defence. They also just lost their defensive leader, Jonathan Allen, who will leave a big whole in the run stopping game. Chuba Hubbard might take advantage of that if they can stay in it in the first half. If the Commanders go up big, I think Carolina will grab some garbage time points (but not enough to ever worry Washington), so I like the over total to hit as well.

Kyren Williams anytime, 1 point @ 2/5

Taking the easy road and hoping to get an easy W on the board….
