This is the one you have been waiting for. Football is back and it’s time to start losing the shirt. The idea behind this version of the newsletter is that for every Thursday night game, I will present a >/=2/1 bet builder. For my sins, I will keep a log of my record throughout the year to show my stellar predictions and profitable gambling…
See below for tonight’s bet. Lock it in.
The Bucs should come out of the blocks hot tonight passing and running the ball relentlessly. Last year the Cowboys were atrocious against the run, ranking No. 31 in yards allowed per game and No. 30 in yards allowed per carry, so expect the Bucs to get out to an early lead and then literally run out the game. The Bucs should therefore cover the alternate spread above and Ronald Jones should surpass 48.5 yards rushing, even if Fournette gets some game time.
The final leg is the points total. I have gone for under 64.5, to nudge the bet over 2/1 and because while the Bucs will score points, it is yet to be seen how Dak will handle his first game back against one of the best defences in the league.
Feel free to leave a comment below on why you agree with my lock of a pick.
J.
